Granville Academy joined The de Ferrers Trust in 2017. We are a Multi Academy Trust currently based in Staffordshire and Derbyshire. We consist of 3 Secondary Academies and 4 Primary Academies.

The Candidate

Are you an energetic, creative individual who can relate positively to young people?  This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside teaching staff to support the children with their emotional and learning needs.

As a Teaching Assistant Apprentice, you will nurture, inspire, challenge, and motivate pupils, whilst implementing clear boundaries and routines. You'll engage with pupils across a range of abilities and help raise aspirations and attainment in students and encourage progression.

You will possess good numeracy and literacy skills equivalent to GCSE grade C in Maths and English, effective communication skills. The position will be 37 hours per week, 39 weeks per year. This Apprenticeship is offered on a fixed term basis for the duration of the apprenticeship.
