On the 20th March, following government advice, the trust closed all of its academies to the majority of students, staying open only for children of key workers, students who are deemed vulnerable and those students who have an Education and Healthcare Plan (EHCP). 

Ensuring that all of our students remain safe, regardless of whether they're in school or not, remains our number one priority and as such we have amended our safeguarding procedures accordingly.  You will find an addendum to our safeguarding policy and our safeguarding plan below which specifically deals with our safeguarding responsibilities during school closure.

Online Learning 

Schools have reported a number of very serious online safety incidents during the lockdown period and continue to use a range of communication channels with children and families at home to share Online Safety support inc fun challenges, newsletter reminders and scripted weekly phone call. Internet use during the night is a key concern.
