I have worked in education for the past 17 years. I joined The de Ferrers Trust as Finance Manager in November 2019. Prior to this I was a business manager for a large primary school in Derby City, with qualifications of DSBM and CSBM and an advanced diploma in administration.  As part of my business manager role I was also seconded on a part time basis for my previous Trust to work within the Estate Team concentrating on health and safety and compliance. I also worked in child protection for a number of years and as a health and safety officer at a joinery company.  I have a wealth of knowledge in all aspects of the school setting, especially in finance, and I am very passionate about best value.
