 The Pingle Academy

The Pingle Academy is a part of The de Ferrers Trust. We are a Multi Academy Trust currently based in Staffordshire and Derbyshire. We consist of 3 Secondary Academies and 4 Primary Academies.

The Pingle Academy is a co-educational, comprehensive, secondary school for students aged 11-18 years.  It is situated on a large secure site at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac. We benefit from a wide range of specialist facilities, including a floodlit astro-turf area, Learning Support Base, Autism Resource Centre and a purpose built Sixth Form Centre.

The Candidate

The successful candidate should have excellent interpersonal communication skills, initiative and have a commitment to the safeguarding and care of young people. The role requires the supervision of students throughout the lunchtime period with the primary focus on maintaining a calm and pleasant environment, ensuring students are well behaved and maintaining high standards. Previous experience is not required. Successful candidates will join our small and supportive team of lunchtime supervisors and be able to make a positive contribution to the running of the Academy. Will be initially for 7 hours until 31st August 2022 after will substantively be 6.25 hours.
