The de Ferrers Trust is a Multi Academy Trust currently based in Staffordshire and Derbyshire. We consist of 3 Secondary Academies and 4 Primary Academies.

The Pingle Academy

The Pingle Academy, part of The de Ferrers Trust, lies at the heart of the National Forest area and provides for students in Key Stages 3, 4 and 5. The Social Studies Faculty offers a wide range of subjects delivered by a large team of specialist teachers. Subjects offered include PSHE at key stages three and four; at GCSE Psychology, Sociology, Child Development and Business are taught; at post 16 A levels and BTECs are available in Psychology, Sociology, Law, Business, Politics and Health & Social Care. The team of teachers are supportive of each other and the students. Many students choose multiple subjects in the Faculty and a large number go on to study these subjects at university or to work in the field. All members of the Faculty team are valued for their skills, whatever the stage of their career, and are encouraged to contribute to the development of the Faculty.
The successful candidate will be highly qualified and be able to support in the promotion of excellent standards of student learning, achievement, progress, attainment and behaviour through working effectively and collaboratively. They will be passionate about their specialist subject and seek to positively impact their field and Academy.
