The de Ferrers Trust is a Multi Academy Trust currently based in Staffordshire and Derbyshire. We consist of 3 Secondary Academies and 4 Primary Academies.

Full Time Subject Leader with an additional TLR 2.1 (0.8 FTE - £2,236.00)
We are looking to appoint a full time outstanding practitioner in MFL with a TLR 2.1 on a 0.8 (FTE) basis. We believe that Granville Academy and Trust is a very special place to work. The MFL faculty currently consists of 2 teachers and sits within the World Studies department.
The MFL team offers two European languages, French and Spanish, which are taught by two specialist Modern Foreign Language teachers. Our aim is to equip students with the skills and confidence they will need to communicate effectively in another language. At KS3 students receive 2 lessons a week in either French or Spanish; both subjects are offered as options at KS4 and those students receive 3 lessons a week.
The faculty offer a range of extracurricular trips and opportunities at both KS3 and KS4, including trips to France and Spain.
The successful candidates will be highly qualified and be able to support in the promotion of excellent standards of student learning, achievement, progress, attainment and behaviour through working effectively and collaboratively. They will be passionate about their specialist subject and seek to positively impact their field and Academy. Specialism in Physics preferred.
