The Pingle Academy is an 11-19 co-educational, comprehensive school, became an academy in May 2017 and joined The de Ferrers Trust. Our over subscribed academy is the academy of choice in the local area and enjoys an excellent local reputation.

The Candidate

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and flexible senior cover supervisor. As the Senior Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient management of cover on a day-to-day basis.  You will manage the cover for absent teachers including deployment of cover supervisors or cover by teaching colleagues in agreed circumstances and deployment of supply Teachers within academy policy. The Senior cover supervisor will also maintain  and manage   supply contacts and  provide Cover when required.

The successful candidate will have some experience of working with young people, hold a relevant level 3 qualification (eg A level BTEC, NVQ), and have GCSE grade C or above (or equivalent) in maths/numeracy and English/literacy. Knowledge of SIMs would be an advantage.
