“It is a genuine privilege to serve the schools in The de Ferrers Trust to ensure that all of our children in our care have the best opportunities to fulfil their social and academic potential. Working with our teams of dedicated teachers to develop their own practice and further improve outcomes for our children across The de Ferrers Trust is a real privilege.”

I have worked for The de Ferrers Trust since 2018. Prior to joining the Trust, I was an experienced Head of English and Senior Leader, as well as having significant experience as an AQA English Literature examiner, securing the role of Lead English Expert for AQA.

Since qualifying as a teacher, I have gone on to complete my National Professional Qualification for Senior Leadership (NPQSL) with the National College for Teaching and Leadership. I have a passion for learning and I am currently completing my Fellowship in Teacher Education with The Ambition Institute and a Masters by Research in Education with The National College for Education.

I most recently created course content and materials for the new NPQSL for the Education Development Trust September 2021 national rollout.

I am particularly passionate about supporting our Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and have worked with Initial Teacher Trainees and ECTs as a both a mentor and Instructor to in order to develop their current practice.
