Salary:

DFT Grade 3 - £19,312.00 - £19,698.00 (Pay Award Pending)

Pro-rata - £11,223.59 - £11,447.92 for the hours advertised

Hours:

25 hours at 39 weeks, Term Time plus INSET days.

Contract Type:

Fixed Term until 22nd July 2022

The Pingle Academy

The Pingle Academy is a part of The de Ferrers Trust. We are a Multi Academy Trust currently based in Staffordshire and Derbyshire. We consist of 3 Secondary Academies and 4 Primary Academies.

The Pingle Academy is a co-educational, comprehensive, secondary school for students aged 11-18 years.  It is situated on a large secure site at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac. We benefit from a wide range of specialist facilities, including a floodlit astro-turf area, Learning Support Base, Autism Resource Centre and a purpose built Sixth Form Centre.

The Candidate

We are looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant who really cares about helping students to succeed. We are looking for someone who is kind, reliable and has a passion for working in the classroom, or one to one, is enthusiastic and builds rapport well with staff and students alike. 

Successful candidates will work either in the Learning Support Base or in the main academy depending on their experience and skills. Successful applicants will have the opportunity to complete an TA Apprenticeship. The ideal candidate should possess NVQ level 2 or above for Teaching Assistants.
