DFT Grade 4 – FTE £20,092.00 - £21,322.00
Salary - £15,179.98 to £16,109.27 p.a pro-rata for the hours detailed
32.5 hours per week working Term Time Only 38 weeks plus 5 INSET days
8:00 – 15:10 Monday to Friday (Inclusive of a 40 minute, unpaid lunch break, to be taken during the academy’s lunch period)

The Pingle Academy is a part of The de Ferrers Trust, a Multi Academy Trust currently based in Staffordshire and Derbyshire which consists of three Secondary Academies and four Primary Academies.
The Pingle Academy is a co-educational, comprehensive, secondary school for students aged 11-18 years. It is situated on a large secure site at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac. We benefit from a wide range of specialist facilities, including a floodlit astro-turf area, Learning Support Base, Autism Resource Centre and a purpose built Sixth Form Centre.

This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside teaching staff, establish supervisory skills and to develop in the management of school classes. Our Cover Supervisors play a vital role in contributing to the culture, ethos and well-being of the whole Academy and to work alongside the teaching staff to be role models for our students, demonstrating the highest standards of teamwork, collaboration and respect.
The successful candidate will possess good personal and communication skills, be systematic and be keen to work in an educational environment.
The Academy is looking for a passionate, dedicated and motivated individual who is committed to ensuring that all students make progress.
With a resilient nature and an ability to adapt to different groups of students and different subject area; a high level of literacy and numeracy; the confidence to make a difference in the classroom and enjoy working with young people. Experience of working with or relating to young people, and to have a commitment to their welfare, education and development is also highly desirable.
